Simplistic: Prepare in ☮️, Perform under Pressure

Life moves in cycles.  Sunshine and storms, booms and breaks.  Winners don't predict the weather, they just prepare for it.

Recently at a conference I was attending, I meet Roy Carroll, a remarkable entrepreneur from North Carolina who built his company across the land.  He didn't gamble.  He grew steady, he saved wisely, and he stayed grounded.  When the recession hit, he didn't panic.  Why?  He had reserves of capital and reserves of character, too.

Preparation, my friend, is a quiet superpower.  Save a little more, learn a little deeper, build trust before you need it.  Ask yourself these questions…  “What's the worst case?  What's the worst thing that can happen?  And am I ready for it?”

This week, will you make one deposit in each of these accounts?

  • In your financial account, Set Aside Something, No Matter How Small.

  • In your skill base, put together 20 Minutes Aside and Learn something profound.

  • In your relationships, Send One Encouraging Note to someone who may be in need.

  • And then in your spirit, will you Spend Five Minutes In Gratitude?  Just take a recess to reassess and to be grateful.

When peace is your training ground, pressures becomes your proving ground.  Prepare In Peace so that you can Perform Under Pressure.  And then, and then you'll have a great week.
